AT-AT (Bandai)

Bought this a couple of years a go and was surprised at how small it is. I was expecting 1:72. My youngest son been hounding me to build this, so now that the Gepard is finished it is time for this. Will be pretty much out of the box build as there isn't that much to add to this kit, the detail is so good and there is the lack of reference. Few short but memorable scenes in 2 films. Main focus on painting. Main issue encountered is mold offset, causing misalignment of joining edge details. Didn't expect this from Bandai, hawing built BB-8, 2x R2-D2 and Captain Phasma. This kit has an inflated part count, as there are a lot of places where a simpler 1 peace solution would have done the job but you have to build the part from 4 peaces. I fail to see the added value. Maybe I'm just too pragmatic?
