Very good result. Lifelike, crowded but not crammed. 👍
Very well done & excellent figure painting 👍
Thank you very much Rui..a challenging little build for me especially with the PE on the miniature artillery
Amazing! Very colorful Dio! Very detailed... Those BW pictures look like photos from history. 😄
Wow, look at all this hidden talent coming out of the woodwork...outstanding.
Thanks guys.. I've added a few more B &W pics
Another beautiful dio. Very well done 👍
Love the detail! great work!
Realistic. You feel the cold.
This diorama is lit beautifully I think, with real looking shadows. 🙂 I should start making dioramas at least to try get started, but it looks so difficult.
Btw, Tamiya has a product that comes with white chalk (afaik color is called "snow" ), to be applied with a brush or qtip, but I wonder, do you guys using snow have use for white chalk on your models? I am trying to figure out how that can be used, but I am stumped and a little confused. Maybe for a very fine layer of snow perhaps?
I've never used chalk but that may be an interesting product to try out. Fortunately there are a number of commercial products available that give a great effect.
I have used white Moltofill to give a snow effekt, if wetted you can make imprints (boots, chains, tires) which harden in about 2 hours.
Nice winter scene 👍
Impressive diorama ! I am a bit doubtful as to DAK ever using Panzerfaust. What colour did you use for the donkey ?
Thanks to everyone for the compliments,,Oliver..probably so on the panzerfaust but that's the fun of building in my opinion, I like to outfit the troops with as many weapons as possible.
I can't recall the exact colors that I used but I think it was a mix of mahogany brown, flat brown, grey and white from Vallejo
Oh thanks Joe. I have the same donkey but my first colour attempts were not quite satisfactory.
It took me a couple of attempts to get the colors that I was satisfied with so don't give up..keep playing with diff colors until you like the result
Great dio with so many details 👍
