Su-76M - Spoils of War
Soviet Troops in Berlin 1945

The SU-76M was the second iteration of a Soviet light SPG based on light tank parts (in this cae an elongated T-70-chassis) and was a reliable and cheap machine produced in vast quantities in the later years of WW2. It saw intesive use as an infantry-support weapon as it´s 76,2mm gun was not the most up-to-date anti-tank weapon (although still fine against things not Panther, Jagdpanzer IV, Tiger etc.). Cooperating in close contact with infantry units the SU-76Ms were often seen in city fighting.
Such a scene is exactly what I want to represent in a small vignette: There is a new figure set by White Stork Models containing two Soviet soldiers and three tankers having just looted some houses. Together with the open-topped nature of the vehicle, this should make a nicely detailed little vignette....
