What if the Lockheed CL-1200 (X-27) Lancer had won the fly-off with the YF-16 and YF-18? The RCAF was, at the time, flying the CF-104 Starfighter. It would have been a natural progression for the RCAF to purchase the Lancer. This depicts the Lancer as it might have appeared at the 1969 Tiger Meet if it had attended instead of the CF-104.
