Looks fabulous ...looks real , I owned a 1968 for 28yrs ...your model is spot on

Thanks Mona, took a while to find the correct color (which I don't remember now, but I think it was a Holden Monaro color), and the model originally had the radio aerial & drivers side door mirror but of course those are long gone! It must be around 45 years since I built it.............but I have 2 more kits in the stash plus the old 1/43 scale AMT kit, so we'll see if I can improve.

To be honest, that car disappointed me a bit, I expected the 396 to have more go! Anyway, I traded it after about 9 months on a new '73 Grand Am 2-door, white 400 with Turbo Hydro, positrac & dual exhausts. That was a nice ride, drove it cross-country, through blizzards, shipped it back to NZ in '74.

Thanks, guys/mates, as you can all see, this is a model which has been in the display cabinet for many years, but it still manages to capture that "60's Muscle Car" look quite nicely.
