Trumpeter's Challenger 2 MBT w. photo etch
Don't buy this kit, my advice. :)

The idea was to have aftermarket photo etch and workable tracks, however, I bought the slightly wrong photo etch and the Bronco tracks didn' fit, so I will be using the rubber tracks.

The photo etch (Eduard 36126) I bought was for a slightly different version, I failed to notice that. I can however use many of the parts for this version.

I am not generally fond of armor with extra padding on them, but this tank seems a little whimpy without the extra armor I think, so I'll have the extra armor on, and also the scoop tool added to the front.

This particular kit seems ok, but not great, working on the wheels, it seems there are some hard-to-see flash on the wheel parts.

If buying this kit, make sure you sand flat the contact surfaces for the wheels, or the parts will misalign because of the flash.

Apologies for the not-so-good photos. I do use a tripod, but I am limited to using my digital pocket camera.
