I didn't bother to shoot cockpit before closing fuselage, because in real not much more is visible than the photos.
My VIII seems to be worse fit than IX that I glued some time ago. Fuselage was bent and I think new version of wing doesn't fit as well as IX's.
The worst is fitting of back wing center section to fuselage.

I've applied big decals directly on paint with help of hairdryer. Smaller ones and those with more clear film need to wait for clear varnish.
