Ford V3000 S/SSM(Maultier) deliveries to Royal Bulgarian Army started in 1943.Till June 1st 1944 a total of 380 vehicles were received.Distributed among anti-tank and anti-aircraft units, they were mainly used to tow the 2,0 cm Flak 30/37 and 7,5 cm PAK 40 guns. 9 vehicles were issued to the 2nd Battery of Armour Brigade's Anti-Aircraft Detachment, where they towed the 9 3,7 cm Flak 36 AA guns.
The Maultier remained in service with the Bulgarian Army till mid 1950's and had the reputaion of durable and robust vehicle.
