The kit is on order and I think I'll be able to get the SAC-like starry blue stripe off of my Caracal KC-97 sheet which is also on order.

The SAC starry band from the Caracal KC-97 sheet will work perfectly. I've updated the project status to "in-progress" now and will add an album soon. I see that I will still have to get the Caracal C-124 sheet since it has those great window decals.

I read an article where the author drilled out the windows since the Roden decals were gray not black. I just got the kit and I am thinking I might do the same. Waiting on the decal set.

Oh, tip from the article. There are wing spars provided, but the instructions tell you they arent used. And nothing is shown for them. But they certainly are there and would be a big help.

I'd love to have one of these in 1/72 or 1/48 as an injection molded kit 😉

Donald: I noticed the spars and plan to use them. The wings are fairly large and the spars would certainly help.

Brian: One of these in 1:48 would be awesome. You could open it up and do all of the interior.
