Mark V were used in the war was in the Battle of Berlin. During their invasion of the Soviet Union, several warehoused Mark V (Russian civil war relics; it should been noted that I have also seen the theory that they were captured Lavtian tanks) were captured by German forces and sent back to the homeland, to become museum pieces. In a last, desesperate effort, they were taken out of the Zenghaus collection where they were stored, and used near the cathedral of Berlin (although they may not actually have been used in combat, or just have served as barricades). While it is mentionned they were knocked out, one appear to have remained in an almost intact state.
