Hello !
This is my last built : AUF1 155mm Self-Propelled Gun, from Meng, 1/35.
To be honest, I' was disappointed by the quality of this kit, which was well below the previous Meng kit that I' built : the plastic quality is very poor and really annoying to sand, there is many flaw in the notice and a lot of mistake in the parts to be used, for a given version. The stencils are also pretty fanciful. It looks like if Meng had spend the very minimum of time on R&D about this subject.
I' also used the Voyager-Model Photoetched add-on set.... well... once again, to be honest, 1/3 of the parts are just useless, since they don't bring any improvement on the kit, and for another one third of the parts, I' was probably not meticulous enough and I' didn't manage to use them.
Eventually, I' used slightly less of one third of the photoetched parts.
The 2 figurines are coming from Blast Model, and are of good quality.
Anyway, I' like the AUF1, and I'm happy to have this kit on my shelf, even if it was a serious built (I' think I' nearly spend 50H on it).
