First "issue" I ran onto was this warped sidewall. Maybe just glueing this may fix it but I am also considering heating this side somehow and straightening it. Not sure how though. Are there modelers with tips?

If the upper and lower pieces are the same thickness at that warped point, glue a strip of plastic to the inside edge of one half and use that "lip" as a seat to firmly glue it all up. Preferably with cyano glue.

Too bad...I have the same model I will check about this. To fix it I think you can try to 'force' the sidewall back to its normal place and shape, just using your fingers....just do it very slowly. As this model is not too old the plastic will not 'crash', but it would be flexible....cheers.

Thanks for the advice guys. I may be able to fix it when the cockpit tub goes in. Hope it provides suffient support.
