Luka, how is the kit? I find Alan to have a mix of both fine and soft detail.

Just cracked it open yesterday. So far: instructions confusing as hell, sprues not being identified with letters but instructions refer to letters (not a huge problem since you have 4 sprues, two are identical for bogeys, one is cruciform base and other is gun so you can quickly find part you are looking for), instructions are imprecise and sometimes I have real trouble understanding what they want me to glue where. so far some parts required cutting and sanding to actually fit. Rest of fits are so-so and will require some light sanding before painting them.

But also no flash seen so far and separating part from sprue is easy and requires minimal work to remove pin leftover.

I actually bought this kit because it was on sale (€10) when I ordered some other stuff and figured that price makes it worth it, even if it ends up to be soemthing I practise on.

OK some further observations. Sprues are indetified by letters, I missed those. Currently working on barrel and breech and often parts don't fit or fit badly. Which means I need to keep putty and sanding paper handy. Barrel comes in 4 parts, two half tubes. Bad fit in joint means I had real issues alligning forward part with back one on two dimensions.

But worst part is instructions first tell you to fix gun to base then two steps on you are supposed to glue things on base which is now almost impossible since barrel is in the way.

It's a struggle to build it but I wanted to build something like this, either AT gun or large calibre artillery piece and this one just happened to cross my path. Plus I need something to practise using washes on.

Based on my experience so far I would recommend this as practise kit if you can get it for low price (I think they sell for around €20 online) but wouldn't recommend it for more serious work and would advise spending a bit more to get quality kit. But as I've said, it was cheap and I think I can work around flaws to build something that doesn't look like it was build by Picaso on LSD. And it will be part of diorama so if things get to out of hand I can cover them somehow.

I see. My go to online store had a blowout deal on the Bronco version.. It looks tempting!

I buy stuff from modellbau-koenig. they still have this version for €10. Not to advertise this store but I find it best one. Best combination of prices, range and s&h costs.
