Thank you, it's almost finished. Then i'll supply the photos and the building steps. It was not totally unproblematic. The kit is a short run one and i could observe almost all the disadvantages of such. Flash, uneven joint surfaces. But to my surprise all the parts could be installed without major problems and no major refining was needed. Some parts are very tiny and thin, thus very brittle but somehow i could manage not to break them. Two very tiny pieces i've lost i could easily build from scratch. The major problem was with the Akan paints in the airbrush. Akan colors are very easy to use with brushes but when it comes to airbrushing, i had to dilute with very much thinner. I used one time Lacquer Thinner from Tamiya and one time X20A but both resulted in coagulation and blocked the nozzle. The cleaning of the device was also difficult, the paint was hard to eliminate from the nozzle. I had to use excess amounts of LT. On the net i read that somebody recommended distilled water or Wimpex for dilution, next time i'll try these. Of course the result of the painting was a little coarse, but with a little sandpaper (2500) and a coat of gloss varnish (from testors) the problem was eliminated. Ah, before i forget, the Akan paint is not very resistent to Tamiya masking tape, i had many small spots where the paint stuck to the tape although i used a Gunze primer and waited at least one day to dry for both layers.

Now before the second layer of gloss coat i am a little terrified by the almost 80 or something very tiny stencil decals. The question is: Will it look good afterwards or polluted?

Finished with an black aquarel wash. The result isn't very good, main problem was the paint. Next time i know how to make it better.
