Gunze H11 matt white applied to the missiles
Outlines and edges highlighted with a 0.7 HB pencil
After detailed and intensive masking, Gunze H18 Steel applied
Almost finished, only some corrections to the R-33 needed
Bare Metal Foil Ultra Bright Chrome and Matte Aluminum applied to several areas

Gunze SM Iron and Tamiya X10 applied to the motors
The whole was washed with a mixture of black-brown-blue-green mixture of watercolors.
After cleaning the excess watercolors with a muji fine ear stick and water, different Akan metallic liquid pigments (96015 Golden-Smoky Burnt Metal, 96016 Golden-Grey Burnt Metal, 96017 Grey-Purple Burnt Metal) were applied

The intakes were painted with Gunze MC Chrome Silver buff color and then buffed. Akan 73060 Radome Green, Gunze H57 Grey and Revell H12 Matt Black appied to some spots

Washing of the lading gear bays with the aame watercolor mixture and cleanign afterwards. At the end it is still buffing but somewhat rustier and dirtier.
The wing construction is amazing and should be a perfect example for other kit designers.
No possiblity to make a mistake with that construction

The design is so perfect that only minimal putty ans sanding will be needed after closing the body.
Flaps and slats down positioned, front part slided in for testing. Result: Amazing!!!
Akan 73005 Mig cockpit color applied. Beware, scratch resistance of this color is low, a primer would be beter before applying the color (i did not and suffered a bit)

I used a minimum quantity of dark brown oil color from my wife's painting material for a dirt wash, maybe exagerated a bit but most of these will disappear below the seats.
The cockpit slided into the one-piece (!!!) front part
I applied a minimum quantity of AK metal wax to the bottom for simulating the shoe wearing
The seats are very good, only a little work needed on top. No harnesses? No and no aftermarket products yet, so i need to find a way to make them by myself.

This kit will need only minimal amounts of putty and sanding, only to make the joining lines look like panel lines.

Mr. Surfacer 1200 primer application
Preshading with Gunze H12 diluted 3:1 with Lacquer Thinner
After applying diluted Gunze H306 in 2 layers, the shading looks almost perfect.
I wonder how it will look after washing the panel lines and rivets

Only some details like the landing gear, pylons & wapons and the jet exhaust left

Selman YararFinished. Result is not bad but i've made some basic errors! Beware of the horizontal stabilizer positions and CAUTION: Jet exhausts don't fit, it was extremely problematic. Don't finish the fuselage assembly before checking the position of the exhausts!

Selman YararI've learned what the problem was. The parts should click-in but as these locations were painted, even the thinnest paint layer prevented them to fit. So don't paint the joining parts as they will be hidden inside. Strange that this is made so extremely tight!!!

Bart Goesaertdon't think it's strange, otherwise there would be complaints about small gaps end steps that shouldn't be there.... you can't make it good both way's...
