Very nice builds, David! Which is the better kit, Hasegawa or Revell?

Thanks Peter!

If you ignore the price, I like the Hasegawa kit more. It's a better fit and the landing gear is less fragile. It also comes with a full set of pylons (important if you're doing the QRA loadout used by the RAF) and plenty of ordnance.

The new Revell kit doesn't have a full set of pylons (no centreline or the 2nd from the wingtips) or as much ordnance. There is only one decal option, but on all 3 boxings these are special schemes, so there is no choice to make a more typical machine. Also the plastic is a little softer, and I prefer the harder plastic used by Hasegawa. But the Revell kit is still very good for the price, and a big improvement on the older kit.

Thanks for the extensive info, David! So I'm the more glad to have the Hasegawa kit in my stash🙂

You're welcome Peter. You could always have both, one Eurofighter is never enough! 🙂

I had problems with the landing gear on this Revell kit not holding the weight of the model. After a while it started bending over.
