Interesting you are going to convert a C-47 kit to a LI-2. I searched far and wide and managed to pick up this kit. Of course if I ever get to it I will build it a per the box cover art

This model is also available on the market. But he has a few problems, at least for me. First, it's Amodel. Second, this is Amodel. And thirdly this is Amodel. I wouldn't tackle a model from them any time soon. Li-2V/T (Amodel 72234, 1:72)

Interesting. Did not know Amodel had that reputation. I only have 4 of their kits in my stash so I guess I won't suffer too much.

I would say the orange is the best. Since it has skis you should still consider adding penguins.
