Love it, but scared of the pe. How to represent the thermal blanket

Hey Scott, sorry for the confusion with the project picture. I wont build it with the thermal blanket as it will only cover the nice details. 😄
I myself is scared about the PE slat armor. I am not sure if i am going to glue or solder them. Maybe i will just use them as a template and build the slat from styrin strips. I have to think about it.
This one will be my big project that i will start in september and will build it during my long vacation.

I like the vacation projects, mine has been 1/16 Pz IV. Think the blanket looks good, point of difference. I also enjoy the barracuda nets seen on modern armour (Aussie Leopards have them so assume others do as well). Not sure styrene is any easier than PE unless kit part 🙂

The barracuda net will be on my Challender 2 that i will build in the future. 🙂

Hey Scott, i am going to use the kit from Trumpeter Nr. 01522 Challenger 2 - Enhanced Armour. I will try to build it like the project picture here: Challenger 2 TES - Iraq 2008 | Project by Igi87 (1:35)
Its the Challenger 2 that was on duty in Basra in 2008. I am going to scratchbuild the ECM antennas, ECM equipment and Barracuda net.
