Airfix Mitsubishi A6M2b Zero WIP
Getting the wing/fuselage fit issues worked out. I like to manipulate the plastic and add styrene shims if needed to alleviate the need for filler as much as possible.
Interior coming together. I very much enjoyed putting it!
Airfix's instrument decals really bring the cockpit to life!
This kit seems to be falling together!
Oops! Not paying attention to the instructions and opened the Display Stand holes instead of the External Tank hole!
Wing mated to fuselage less than 24 hours after starting this build! I might need a spot or so of putty but will try to get away with using Mr. Surfacer if I can! ;-D
Tried out a new 1cc paint cup for my Aztek. Worked very well once I had it in ALL the way!!
Got the elevators and rudder on. Some Mr. Surfacer over those faint seams and a tad bit on the starboard (right) wing leading edge. Almost ready for primer!
Seams taken care of. Waiting on primer.
Primered with Krylon. Gonna give it a couple of days to cure so I can try some rubber cement weathering.

The plan is to build it OOB, practice some weathering and paint chipping. Masking tape seat belts 😉
