I have seen a lot of videos from Syria of these beasts being blown to hell.
Why would any one get into a tank in that environment these days.
Life expectancy...............30 seconds.

Agree. The era of these machines is over already, yet some armies still own large number of them while not being able/allowed to import better tanks. Other aspects lead to such disasters like corruption and lack of good planning.

This tank and its derivatives became iconic in most key conflicts after WWII.

The tank in original photo is actually a T-55. I just used the very affordable T-54A kit instead.
