The 1962 Chevrolet Corvette was the last year for an opening trunk and the last year for the body style introduced in 1956. 1962 was the first year for the 327 cubic inch 360 horsepower V-8, sintered metallic brake linings and a heater was standard. The only transmission was a four-speed. Here is my recently completed model with cut down windshield, tonneau cover, roll bar and custom front pan.
