This was an AMT kit the I won in a raffle at our IPMS club meeting. It is set up to build as a street or a modified version. I started out to build the standard one only to find out that the tires for that were missing, but I had already built the electronic fuel injected engine. So being flexible and not wanting to go back and rebuild the engine with four Weber 2-barrel cars and velocity stacks, I put the racing tires on and the side pipes. As with most cars I have owned they are always more show than go. The Goodyear Eagle VR Gatorback tires don't set real well on the car but I didn't have an equivalent Corvette tire and at least the model is together. I have some photo etched parts to add including a 35th anniversary logo. I was amused to see that the car would have a cellular telephone and radar detector. Hope you enjoy my rendition.
