I love the plane and all the cool colors. The plane would photograph better with a warm color contrasting background.

Cool - I hope the Lozenge was supplied as Decal and had not to be painted.

Getting ready to build Eduard Fokker D.VII (OAW) 1:48 kit. Decals for wings, interior and lozenge markings are provided. Really like what you did with your scale model especially thought the striping on the wheels was cool. I was surprised to learn that "it was common among German fighter units to apply a unit colour to their aircraft. Individual aircraft were personalized with letters, numbers, crests or specific colours applied to components such as cowlings, tails or fuselage bands, among others." You are an inspiration!

Hi all,
thank you very much! Curtis, thanks a lot for your advice regarding the photo. I knew that there was something annoying to me with the pictures, but I didn't know what it was exactly. Now I know!
The lozenge was supplied in the kit as decals. As I decided to build the model depicted in the box, I used some pieces of lozenge of the tail planes for the interior.
I suspect that the description in the box is not correct. I think that, taking into account the white and black bars in the tail, the craft belonged to Jasta 6.

Do you remember the protoype that was going to be tested at the end of the "Blue Max" movie? 🙂
