SR-71 A/B Blackbird

This one is one of my latest, the SR-71 from Testors in 1/48th scale. This has been the model on which I had to work more putty and sand more plastic than ever, the injection mold most be very damaged by age, the plastic parts have a lot of injection flaws that need to be corrected, to make things more complicated, I decided to rescribe all panel lines. I used the true details cockpit and wheels, great plus to the kit.

Hello Eduardo. The Testors kit needed a lot of work it seems. Your patience paid off since the finished model looks very nice. That was an awful lot of putty for a model but judges can see the work that went into it. Looks great.

Beautiful work Eduardo. These old Blackbird kits in 48th and 72nd not the best kits to work with, but you have done a fantastic job, love the paint work. Top job Sir. 👍

Thank you both, this 1/48th kit was my first 1/48 build back in 93, I build it in 1 day.... you can imagine how it getn though, but I loved it...20+ years later I had to give it a secundaria try...and I loved it even more
