AFV's 1/350 German VIIC Submarine

Album image #1
The box art is most appealing and will sell many of them. Even though the whole model is minuscule in stature, but worth the time applied.

Album image #2
Flash. ! There is only one part that had any and this was the fitting for the pressure hull that will never be seen.

Album image #4
Scale, Compared to this tube of super glue. There is so little of it. Ending up being 5 inches long. But packed with really fine detail and etched brass.

Album image #5
The anchor and 20mm cannon. ! And on the far left is the radar box that fits to the inside bulkhead of the conning tower that had the loop fitted to it later. (Can you see them. ? )

Album image #6
The rails are ok, but the brass is better.

Album image #7
The detail inside the weather deck is quite presentable, especially after the gun platform is added.

Album image #8
These are fair if you don't want to attempt the brass. But the brass is much better.

Album image #9
The conning tower weather deck detail is superb.

Album image #10
This is the 20mm gun I chose, as it has more 'bulk' and stands out.

Album image #11
The 88 Main gun is reasonable.

Album image #12
Ohhhhhhhh! The brass. So fine and fragile, but what a look and result.

Album image #13
And I used every part provided. 🙂

Album image #14
Super fragile and great care must be taken so as not to break/loose it.

Album image #15
As always. These parts can be wiped out in a millisecond if you forget what your doing.

Album image #16
I really used to be terrified of doing brass work. But after seeing what the boys do with their ships, I gained some confidence and learned how to get it right.

Album image #17
There may be a smidgen too much super glue showing, but once painted. All will be good.

Album image #18
The aerials are the last bits of brass to be fitted, but this is just on the 'nearly finished' stretch.

Album image #19
Jeez. ! Talk about fiddly stuff !!!. The rudder propeller set up really tried my skills, but all went together perfectly.

Album image #20
12 parts went into the build of this lot

Album info

The detail in this model is quite surprising but astounding for it's actual size.
