Album info

This Churchill is part of the 31st tank brigade 9th RTR. I went with the typical dark green base coat that most of these were painted with. I used the hairspray chipping method to expose a light gray primer underneath and applied some Vallejo rust to some of the chipped parts especially around the edges. The tracks were painted orange brown and washed with oiled earth, then dry brushed with natural steel. I used Vallejo light brown splash mud before brushing on some light dust. Overall I really enjoyed this kit. It went together perfectly and was a lot of fun to paint and weather. Recommended for all skill levels. 9/10
