A lot of work was needed to build the model. Some putty was used specially on the fuselage/wings roots. Wing edges had to be sanded a lot in order to have something sharp for the scale. Now it's time for painting and I start with the engine bay using MRP silver. Note that rivets were added. Primer coat was also from MRP.

Start painting job with the WWII RAF Yellow. A white coat was applied before the yellow.

Testing Ocean grey MRP reference.

Painting job on the UP camo starting with the Ocean Grey RP-115. Then the masking step was done using PATAFIX and tamiya tape.

To finish the painting I applied the MRP-101 FS34079 Dark Green color.

Decals applied. Clear prop decals are very good.

Thanks guys ! So I can say that this kit has several details but the general fit is not so good and need to adjust almost all the parts.

Thanks guys ! So the kit is very detailed but the fit is not good you need to adjust almost all the parts for assembly.....even the resin parts. Also the canopy masks have not the correct size to fit the clear parts.

I hope that ClearProp did better on their other kits......

Hmm, too bad. They have several releases I am interested in, so this is not encouraging news. Not that one can tell from your pictures😉.

Does that mean I don't necessarily have to sell my Mach2's Frelon then?😉

Hi Lukasz, I think that CP model is better than Mach2 model....maybe only my specific model had problems and not the others....anyway I will write an article about this build so you can check and follow my tips to avoid the problems I had.

The result looks gorgeous and realistic. (Your words successfully dissuaded me from adding one to my own shelf however 😄)
