This one became a bit of a test bunny as I tried some new techniques I'd never done before, and in the case of camouflage not in 30+ years anyway. The result isn't great at all, and took way too long, but I've learnt a bit...still uncomfortable at filling gaps and need to learn a lot more about weathering and the like.
The Italeri kit isn't terrible, but not all that great either, the surface moulding is a bit messy and I didn't like the decals much...they didn't seem to like the Microset/sol too much and then when I sprayed the final coat of dulcote, they seemed to react to it a bit with some wrinkling and silvering now visible that wasn't there prior. Much prefer the Tamiya/Airfix decals. But it's not an expensive kit and nice to have one with Aussie marking out of the box, so not all bad.
