It's a great kit - The decals are great and fit perfect. The only thing I had to paint - besides the bare metal - was the small black radar dome in front. Good luck!

Album info

I highly recommend this new issue F-86 from Airfix. Easy to build and it has fantastic decals. The only issue I ran into was attaching the wings - the grooves provided are not large enough and some trimming was required for a good fit. I used almost no filler which is why I decided to do the natural metal finish with Testors Metallizer paint. I used the kit decals. The F-86F Sabre "The Huff" was flown by Lt. Jim Thompson, 39th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, based at K-13, Suwon AB, South Korea, June 1953.
