Do you have photos of the model you are building? How long for completion? I am interested in seeing this model how it camoes along and the final result, because I have a YAK-40 from VEB-Plasticart. I wasn't thinking of building it though because my VEB-Plasticart models are intende for collection only... at least for now

I put this project kinda on the long bench because the quality of the kit is poor and you need to put some effort in it to make it somewhat presentable. Additionally i decided to cut out the flaps, the passenger stairway, modify the engines, building the nose gear from scratch...it was a slow process and i put it to the side some months ago but want to finish it when the MiG-25 is done!
The VEB kits are ancient but they are not bad. The plastic is a little brittle but you can still create something presentable out of them. Built the Tu-134 myself some 15 years ago.
