I needed to test the paint scheme of the German Naval Aviation of the 1980ies before trying it on the Revell Tornado. I tried it on the X-Wing as a fun experiment. Came out ok - need to work on the integration of the decals. Talked to my local shop about it today (Tracks and wings, Rue des Alliés 40, 1190 Forest, Brussels Area, Belgium). Will try new setting product next time.
