Sd.Kfz. 171 Panther Ausf. D
7./Pz.Abt.52, Pz.Rgt.39, Kursk '43

Scale:1:35
Status:In progress
Timeline:Started on May 1, 2008

As Unternehmen Zitadelle was the first ever battle and in fact the only battle that "Black 745" participated in I will try to go easy with the weathering on this one. It was abandoned at the battlefield for some reason and captured by the Soviets and shown at the Moscow exhibition of captured German planes, artillery, armour and weaponry in 1943. Youtube Video (Black 745 not shown in the film). Kit started back in 2008 when I had built for only 2½ years and then abandoned until now.

The panther will need some figures as well. Here I've started on the left torso.

Thanks mate! The thing that really stand out in the clip is the peacetime feel when you look at the people in the clip. The clip is also a great collection of references from 1943 and older.

Yah agree, but also the danger at this time was already going faraway.
