Holy crab what a beauty!!!
How did you made the gloss finish?
That`s a finished model with a "must have" factor!! Like your Peugeot, you are dealing the colour application like a master. Here on sm are a lot of good modeller with fantastic skills in the category of car and motorcycle modelling.

Hi guys, thanks for the nice comments. The high gloss finish is just Tamiya X22 Acrylics thru the airbrush and polished with Tamiya finish. That's it. The peugeot is 2K clear from Zero paints.

Thx Lesley, for the explanation.

That's a absolute amazing finish you have achieved with the x22. i have tried to polish x22 once but without coming near your finish. but now i will definitely try it again sins i'm tired of the ts-13 messing up my builds every now and then.

What you have done, Lesley?
You really infected me!!
Now I will have a closer look in Mol for Racer bikes!!!
Damned, I`m incurable infected!!
Do you have some proposals for me?
I`m a bloody noop as for these things!
My Favourite is the Repsol Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade, I have seen this bike some month ago here in Darmstadt.

Lesley THIS is great. I'm a Ducati fan and this is very good. Where do you buy 2k clear from Zero Paints?

@Dirk. The Repsol Honda is very cool bike. I have some MotoGP versions of those from Tamiya. Besides the Front fork set, i build the Ducati straight out of the box. As far as bikes goes, i'm not into bringing a lot of detail. I just make the paint finish looks great and ad some aftermarket decals. Thats it. You buy Zero Paints from Domino or Hiroboy. I buy from both.

To all: thanks again for the excellent comments.

I made some excursions on web sites with Tamiya in-box reviews and I`ve found, it is not at all necessary for extra details, so as you said previously.
These models came out with so many and fine details, so it is like you said only important, to focus on the finish of this "little" (1:12) gems.
Hope that I will find your amazing models someday in Mol KMK (B) or maybe in Veldhoven (NL) at Oktober this year?
Would be great to see this Ducati jewel live! 🙂

I agree with Lesley. Good paintjob and smooth clearcote is what you need on the bike like this. Engine and even exhaust pipes are hidden... Shame 🙂
