Primed using AK grey microfiller
Tamiya XF1 Blackbasing followed by AK-I's Flat white marbeling
AK Interactive RC:AIR lineup, in corresponding RAL Colors
Topside after touchups and post shading
Gloss coated, on to decalling
Sealed with GX-114, after some subtle pinwashing. Once cured, some more weathering using oils followed by metallizer work on the exhaust and stabs
Light streaking sealed. Decided to go ahead and removed the masking, before it gets harder to remove. Later today, more masking and maybe some gloss black
How much masking you need? -YES!
Mix of layers starting with polished aluminum, followed by duralinum, steel and pale burnt iron
Masking and metallic smoke
Jet exhaust used as baseline for later sut application
I can't verbally explain, how freaking pissed I am.
Luckily, italeri added the option for the right side standard flag
Now on to handpainting... Jeezy I'm rusty
...hmm.... looks right...
Flagge repaint turned out decent. Hope the gx114 will bring the sheen to a Uniform flat

Patrick HagelsteinIf you look at the picture of the original, the fin flash is painted on by hand as well and it originates from the standard German flag. So, actually you made it even more realistic. 👍
