WOW. That is a beast of a kit! Your tenacity is to be commended!

Exceptional work, that looks like it was a challenging build that involved 3D printing innovation on your part.

Album info

've been working on it since October last year, and it's finally finished. Red wings Tu-16KS (anti-ship attack model). This kit starts from scraping out a very poorly molded resin. Most of the details are expressed with photo-etched parts, and they are very enthusiastic, but unfortunately, the production is so harsh that they cannot be completed while using them.
After making the cockpit, fuselage, and main wing solid, I reproduced the tail turret and the inside of the engine with 3D output products. I couldn't stand it. The stainless steel is embedded, and the details are reproduced with 3D output products and brass.
It was very difficult to understand, but when it was completed, it accurately reproduced the silhouette of the Tu-16, and you can see that it is close to the three-view drawing that was included. Also, while duplicating the canopy, I noticed that Trumpeter used this 1995 kit as a reference. You can see that it imitates the spread of the window frame.
Also, Amodel's KS-1 has a decal that can reproduce the Tu-16 equipped with these! That's how this kit was completed. I would like to complete the Tu-16 with respect to both manufacturers, Red Wings and Amodel.
