The subject of the kit supplied decals, only this was later in its carreer, while flying with 325 squadron.
According to my refferences N-283 was taken into service in 1959, with registration 3P-27. After an overhaul in 1962 it was returned to service with 324 squadron, with shown registration.

Working on the smaller bits now, and then I need to wait for the temperature to drop, as it is impossible to use the airbrush at 30Β°C ,π΅βπ«

I'm in the process of decalling a P-51 with Dutch decals but so far no success with decal softener..
29 August 2022, 13:22
![](/profiles/img/41967-490-s.jpg)
Dutch decals are quite thick, at least the old ones. The newer sets are quite brittle, at least the ones I have tried to use.
The Revell decals are quite good, but not all correct for a Dutch version, so I'm using some Flevo decals for the stencils around the cockpit.

Thanks Erik, yes I hope to finish it this weekend, but I'm not sure if I have the time to do so.
Maybe you can do that Hunter after the Avenger π

This was an enjoyable project, great kit by Revell with just a bit of after market parts to make it that little bit nicer.
