My first "wiring" The little arms that allow for the ailerons to move, were so small and from what I could tell, mis-sized as the final model had many of those control wires dragging across the wing surfaces. Or was that must me?
Note I figured I had to put down the decals first, so I did with many coats of Future on them in a vain attempt to protect them from all of the fiddling needed to wire things up.
Neil Indeed! I'm with David. Just WOW, though maybe if a build is pushing you to the bottle, it's a build too far! 😁😂 Looks like you overcame the difficulties and produced a fabulous end result though. Kudos. 👍👍

I'm not a show-quality modeler, but I've built enough to know that this model was way above my paygrade.
Kit Issues: There were no locator pins to speak of. Instructions were too small and sparse to correctly identify alignments (esp on the engine assemblies and engine/mounts/wings. Wings were butt-jointed and kept breaking (I ended up inserting pins). And the wiring detail didn't even match the box art. Also note the poor molding in the early pictures.
Firsts: Biplane, extreme weathering, mastering superglue (Loctite SuperGlue Gel in the wee bitty bottles, plus the needle trick). LEGO!!!
What went wrong: Busted wing joints, misaligned engines, poor attachment of guide wires.
What I'm proud of: I finished the damn thing vs throwing it out.
