I like it. 👍 What I would sugest, is a Matt varnish cote on the figures clouths, and to reduce the decal silvering, cut the excess suport film and use gloss varnish before apply them. Also use decal pruducts like Micro set or Micro sol, should help.

Thanks for your advice, Rui. I'm having no luck with Matt varnishes. I've tried Humbrol Matt Cote and also an acrylic Matt varnish. Neither seem to reduce shine ☹️ All of the paints were meant to be Matt too! I've tried a satin Cote on aircraft before applying decals, and use DecalFix now too. These seem to work well in most situations.

Be welcome Bruce, did you use enamell or acrilic Humbrol Matt Cote?
I use enamell, but if I dont mixe it well, it dosen't work.

Enamel, Rui. I'll give it a good stir and see if that works better.

THX Bruce.
If you use an airbrush you should be ok.

No, just brushes. I am finding acrylic paints much easier to achieve a good finish, and enjoying these challenges ?

Album info

A build from a while ago, but recently tidied up. This one hasn't been in service long, so just a bit sun faded and dusty. One careful owner, as they say ? Enamel paints for all areas, but tools were touched up with acrylics.
