Album info

For starters, a little fiction ?
Joachim spotted an enemy aircraft ahead, on the left, just below the clouds, about 100 meters above. He increased engine speed to maximum and turned left. He fired a long burst from his machine guns. The enemy first dived and then pulled up, intending to disappear in the clouds. The German chased after him. In a moment both of them were above the clouds, maybe a thousand meters high. The German was lucky, he had the enemy in front of him. He quickly got on his tail and opened fire from a distance of 450 meters. On the third burst we could see tracer bullets entering the enemy's fuselage and after a while dark smoke appeared behind his tail. Finally a wing broke off, the plane spun and there was an explosion that tore it to pieces.
The model itself is a new Eduard release. It is very well fitted ? .
The following machine is a plane of II./JG 26 commander Joachim Müncheberg, Abbeville-Drucat, France, May 1942
