EE lightning F.2A

Ah, the infamous lighting fit.  

Massive ejection marks on the inside.
I flatted back the front 3 to help fit the intake/cockpit part.

Paint on, one for tomorrow.  

Not a bad fit, after some rather vigorous sanding to the intake part.

After: a quick polish, doesn't look as shiny as in real life.  

Decals did not go well.
Black walkway lines are super fiddly. Got a twist in one side that I couldn’t get out so had to cut it, not sure how I will fill the gap...
 

I had some trouble with the decals. As they are sooo small and fiddly.
Especially the walkway ones. One side I got on ok (if a bit wobbly) then the other used I messed up. Hence why it’s missing some of the black line.
But I will live with this mistake. I reminder for the next one.
