Any feedback is welcome. I'd love to know what I could do better, as I know this is far from perfect.

I would say a few big wins are - better sag on the tracks. The best upgrade you can get for a tank is workable metal tracks, nothing compares to the quality and detail it delivers. Another thing to look at is the finish. Making sure that the tarps and other cloth materials are as matt as you can get them, it will really reduce the shiny, plastic look. I would also recommend a pin wash to bring out the details - Youtube Video. I also think that even a small base makes a big difference, even it it's just a little bit of muddy ground. It really grounds the piece. Keep up the good work, practice practice practice, especially on figures - there's no youtube tutorial for the experience you get from painting 100 figures.

Thanks so much, that's really helpful. This is pretty much my 4th model, so I'm happy with where it is now, But I'll be sure to keep those in mind.

Well, IMHO i would say that you don't need any aftermarket pieces to make an excellent model.
Yes, I agree they can help a lot, but they are not the main issue, and they are expensive.
I would instead advise you to get read off all the molde seams in every piece, with your xacto, and dry test the pieces positioning before you glue them. Thin glue is also very important.
As to the matt paint, I agree with Zach. Pigment pouders also help a lot in final results.
Anyway, I like your teaser photo and for a 4th model, you have done a good job. 👍
So go ahead we are already waiting for the 5th one.😉

Awesome, thanks so much. I just bought them because I wanted the model to look a little more lively. All of that makes a lot of sense. I can't wait to get started with the next model using this advice.
