Thanks everyone. Olivier, I don't know what year, I just kinda wing it. I just do what ever comes to mind

I was referring to the 'radio-active' crate... Not sure they used that symbol during WWII.

Ok, misunderstood your question, the radio- active decals was in the kit. I liked the looks of it, so I put it on the box.

Very nice. Impressive weathering; I want to know more about your techniques! And I got a kick out of the radioactive cargo box!

Luftfanatic, I started out spraying the whole truck with Tamiya nato black, highlighed it with flat white, lightly sprayed it with desert yellow. Sprayed the whole thing with Testors dullcoat. Did some chipping affect and dry brushing using german grey, on the wood, I used red brown. I used Vallejo Rainmarks and lightly went over some of the high spots, Lastly I gave it a light dusting with Vallejo pigment desert dust. The boxes are from Mini Art, I just used the decals that came in the kit.

Really. When I weather aircraft its the opposite: light gray panels with black lines. So is the desert yellow a really strong colour? is that why you black your body and white your panel lines? I would've never considered doing it the opposite way...

I use the white to highlight the large areas of the model. That way it looks like faded paint, if you give it a light color of the color.

So, a coat of NATO black, then flat white over the panels (I assume you avoid the panel edges then), then desert yellow.

Yes, if you go to you tube, go to Andy's Hobby Headquarters. That where I learned it from, he's does about all his armor like that. It took a little practice not to put too much color on or it will hide the high lighting. Hopes this helps
