After buying 25 distributors on ebay for $25, I found I already have the materials to make my own. (So I did). I can even put boots on the "spark plugs".

4 engines 90% complete. Have 1 of the exhaust attached to the head on each. All that is left is the other side exhaust and spark plug wires. Picked up some red heat shrink today for spark plug boots.

Album info

Time to tackle painting and detailing the Big Block Chevys for my Chevelles. My parts box has 4 long blocks painted and assembled. The kits have their own engines. I also have a few optional pieces to mix and match. I will be putting 4-speeds in the stick shift cars and automatics in the remainders. Intakes will be determined by preference and if it fits under the hood. I have learned batch engine building yields consistent results. I do have to paint one Ford blue to replicate the engine in my buddy's brown Heavy Chevy.
