Revell 2005 Ford Mustang Custom
The before picture un assembled and painted in day-glo orange !!
Body kit mods underway using plasticard and milliput filler with lots of sanding. Note the scratch built rear window scoops. I was using 66 Shelby ones until I dropped one between the floorboards!!
Front bumper opened out and made deeper. Gap filled with brass mesh
Scratchbuilt traction bars mounted to rear axle. Scratchbuilt front and rear anti-roll bars made with florist wire - the front one took 4 attempts
5.0 GT engine with scratchbuilt supercharger and oil filler. Air intake needed to complete
not the best photo. Stock interior in matt and semi gloss black with scratchbuilt handbrake
3 coats of Ford Europe Jade Green paint out of a rattle can done in the garage
To disguise the poor window glass, I used self adhesive headlamp tint bought off e-bay
tinted rear lights and center panel with modified rear bumper
kit wheels de-chromed and painted white. Decal trim used for stripe. Body finished off with Klear
Air intake now built with resin air filter
Air intake installed
Chassis. Pleased with the mods

Nigel ChapmanAt long last I've managed to find a resin air filter to complete the engine. A couple lengths of Evergreen tube (223 inside 225), bent to shape with a cut down plastic bendy straw (another hard to find item!)

Nigel ChapmanFinished completely. Pleased with end result.
Only thing I would do differently is to paint the stripes Rather than use tape.
