Hi and Tx. The hoops are aluminium wire, scratch bend to shape according and referring to a picture of a real truck that I found on the web. The white supports are Evergreen strips. The vehicle's unit marking was also found on the web, reduced in size and glued to the truck; it's not a decal.
It seemed that these vehicles in the pre WW2 years had their unit markings on some kind of shields; not painted on the vehicle.
The canvas is a green paper napkin, single layer without decoration, cut out oversized and glued to the supports using white glue diluted with water. Process repeated several times until desired shape. Let dry thoroughly + 24hrs, than when stiffened and hard, cut to shape and paint.
