One of the most difficult fitting kits ever....

Scratchbuilt long/higher (civil) skids
Made a simple mold to fit the scratchbuild (higher) skids. To make sure the helo doesn't stand askew.
Hopefully the new skids are strong enough to carry it all
New skids fit nicely
Next up: priming
Found just the right colors at the local home-depot. Acrylics: chocolate brown, bright orange & yellow
Fresh new spraybooth - prepare for prime

Not happy with the result so far. Fortunately we've got M.Villalba's F.A.Q. tips and tricks up our sleeve! *Fingers Crossed
Result so far... Gonna use @Ronan's paint-examples for sure!

Erik LeijdensNice masking work Bart 👍 The big rattlecans are easy to use but I don't like the the amount if overspray they always give. But, the paint job looks very good 🙂

Erik LeijdensI know what you feel! I ruined the paintjob of my TA-4J Skyhawk tonight.. 🙁 Got the tip to get some bio ethanol from the ACTION, dissolves the paint and does not affect the plastic. Think I'll give it a try

Erik LeijdensThe one who told me used it on Gunze aqueous and Alclad, and it worked on both. I will give it a try on my Skyhawk which was painted with enamels.. Hope it works..

Spanjaardwhen removing paint the best is usually a bath of Dettol... but that can not be used in this case of course. alcohol with enamel?, may work, but not 100% i guess.... good luck.
