Stanley CarrierBefore Israel started proper tank construction on their own, They used repurposed tanks of other nations. I remember seeing somewhere some German tanks in the israeli tank museums. This inspired me to begin this project when the source King Tiger kit suffered catastrophic failure of the tracks and severe hull damage last night. the kit was well over 10 years old, so while it was sad to see it destroyed, i love this idea.

These are a collection of ideas i will be working with to produce the King Merkava. Fellow modellers, if you have any ideas on where i can source Israeli boxes, or other Israeli detail items rather cheaply, that would be most helpful.
