Just starting a very basic 1:48 Airfix Viggen. Probably won't get it this accurate but gives you a very good idea what is happening around the Viggens very complicated exhausts.

really nice pictures. one of my favourite planes. i took a few pictures of the one that i found in Lelystad Airport Aviodome Museum (Netherlands), but being outside, it is not in as good shape as this one. thanks a lot for sharing!
this will be handy when i build my Tarangus. Who knows, maybe I will also try to "resucitate" my old Esci Viggen, if i can rescue it from under the many layers of aluminium paint that drop on it 30+ years ago....

@ Spanjaard: try Dettol! 🙂 Works like a charm! I ordered mine through bol.com

got mine in kruidvat shop, but i have not yet used it. anyway my old Esci kit is not available until Christmas at least... well, i have enough models in my stash here anyway, including the Tarangus one, which does not need any cleaning 😛.
The old one will be a good chance for testing Dettol... 30 years old, very think enamel paint...

Be sure to use the really dark brown oily fluid. The 'dutch' Dettol won't work. Don't ask how I know. 😉 Good luck and have fun with the Tarangus one! The reviews look promissing.

Chloroxylenol 48mg/ml is the one i have. looks brown, but the bottle is not transparent.
