Aerodynamic tunnel-hull racing boats have powerful outboard racing engines with light weight racing hulls constructed from aircraft-grade laminated plywood. The "pickelfork" design places the driver in the nose of the boat. The enclosed cockpit blends into an aerodynamic faring that covers the fuel tank. Racing events are composed of 20-lap heats and 50-lap main events over closed courses that span 3/4 to 1-1/4 miles in length. Brian Daley is a respected competitor with a proven record of Formula One victories and impressive finishes. Brian powers a Yamaha V-6 engine machine with lightning-quick handling and acceleration.
