Greco OteroThanks clifford its my first time trying to replicate a little used and abused weathering. So far I am having fun experimenting with technics I have not used before, like airbrushing those black trails on the wings,some of you make it look so easy

Bart Goesaertlooks nice, a pity that the out of register decals don't point at the same direction. Good luck with the weathering top seems nice. hope you can tone down the bottom a bit.

Clifford KeeslerYou are a brave soul trying it with the airbrush, I use pastel chalks, that way if I mess it up I can wipe it off and re-do it. I am going to try it with the airbrush also, and am going to try pre-shading with the airbrush.

Greco Oterooh yeah decals are tick as paper and won't react even to Solvaset, didn't pay much attention to face the out of register in the same direction...good point Bart...what you guys think I should do to tone down the bottom... its paint and pretty much wont come clean up, I was thinking on re-spraying those areas with the base color maybe?

Clifford KeeslerI would overspray a light coat of the base color, but to me it doesn't look all that bad.

Greco OteroAfter debating re-spraying the bottom or leaving alone I decided to bite the bullet and did it, i was affraid it was goint to end up in the junk yard but I think it will pass. I also worked on the top while I was at it
